SRINAGAR: The Directorate of Faculty Schooling Kashmir (DSEK) has sought strict compliance of Mannequin Code of Conduct (MCC) by Chief Schooling Officers (CEOs).
In a communication addressed to all of the CEOs, the DSEK has acknowledged that the directions have been issued following the workplace memorandum obtained from the workplace of the Chief Electoral Officer concerning the strict adherence to the MCC as per the rules issued by the Election Fee of India (ECI).
“The motion taken report could kindly be shared with this Directorate accordingly,” the official communication reads.
Earlier, the Common Administration Division (GAD) issued an official communication to all the executive secretaries for strict compliance of the directions issued by Election Fee of India concerning strict implementation of the MCC tips.
The communication was issued after the Workplace of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), by way of a communication requested all the executive secretaries to make sure strict compliance of the directions of mannequin code of conduct for the steerage of political events, candidates and different associated tips.
“The Mannequin Code of Conduct (MCC) directions could also be learn in context of the requirement of the division involved and adopted in letter and spirit. The compliance report will likely be despatched on the e-mail of the CEO specifying the topic clearly “Mannequin Code of Conduct in daring letters,” reads a communication issued from CEO to all administrative secretaries.
Notably, the ECI on March 16 of 2024 introduced the schedule for Lok Sabha elections whereas the voting will start from April 19 in seven phases. The notification for the primary section of Lok Sabha elections 2024 was issued on March 20 of 2-024.
The voting for 102 Lok Sabha constituencies throughout 17 states and 4 Union territories will happen on April 19, the ECI has mentioned.(KNO)
