Mehbooba Mufti to contest Lok Sabha polls from Anantnag-Rajouri constituency – Kashmir Reader

Srinagar: Former chief minister and Individuals’s Democratic Social gathering president Mehbooba Mufti will contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls from Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, the social gathering mentioned at present.In a press briefing in Srinagar, senior PDP chief and former minister Sartaj Madni mentioned that social gathering chief Mehbooba Mufti can be their candidate from Anantnag-Rajouri seat, whereas social gathering youth president Waheed Para will contest from Srinagar-Pulwama constituency.He mentioned that former Rajya Sabha MP Fayaz Mir, who not too long ago returned to the social gathering, can be its candidate from Baramulla constituency. Mehbooba Mufti can be pitted in opposition to Nationwide Convention’s Mian Altaf and DPAP chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad in Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, whereas the BJP and different regional events are but to announce their candidates from this seat.
