SRINAGAR: A Particular Police Officer (SPO) was killed in a hit-and-run accident within the Mattan space of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir, officers mentioned.
“SPO Mohammad Maqbool Ganie, son of Abdul Aziz Ganie of Shangus was hit by a dashing sumo car bearing registration quantity JK012 1976, whereas the latter was allotting his responsibility at a naka in Bumzoo,” they mentioned.
The SPO, the officers mentioned, sustained crucial accidents within the incident and succumbed on the way in which to hospital.
The accused driver has been recognized as Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Sidiq Bhat of Hapatnard Aishmuqam.
A police official confirming the incident to GNS, mentioned that they’ve arrested the accused driver and a case stands registered on this regard for additional investigations.
