3 college students of Ladakh chosen for RajyaSabha internship prog

Kargil, Nov 29: Three college students of College of Ladakh have been chosen for RajyaSabha (RS) internship programme.

The scholars, ChoskitAngmo of M A political science 1st semester, Leh campus, DeskitPalmo of B Ed 1st semester, Leh campus and Mohammad Hassanian of MA Political Science, 1st semester, Kargil campus have been chosen for second batch of two-week RajyaSabha Internship Programme (RSIP). The programme began from November 28. The RajyaSabha Internship Programme is the brainchild of the Vice President of India, JagdeepDhankhar.

The aim of the internship programme is to familiarise the scholars from the social science background with the varied capabilities of the Parliament. All of the internship associated bills (air journey, lodging and meals) are borne by the RajyaSabha Secretariat. Vice Chancellor, College of Ladakh, Professor S Okay Mehta congratulated the chosen college students and prolonged his finest needs for the profitable completion of the reputed internship program. Dean College students Welfare, College of Ladakh, DrJigmatDachen stated that, this internship programme is well-known for offering a platform for gifted college students to realize useful insights into parliamentary continuing and public coverage.
