PULWAMA: A youth drowned to dying whereas extracting sand from the river Jehlium at Kakapora space of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
Eyewitnesses informed Kashmir Reader that the youth, who have been extracting sand in Jhelum at Kakapora space, drowned after their boat capsized all of a sudden.
The deceased was recognized as Showkat Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Akbar, a resident of Lelhar Kakapora.
Police officers confirmed a drowning incident to Kashmir Reader that occurred throughout the sand extraction course of.
The physique of the youth was fished out and handed over to his subsequent of kins for final rites.
