LeT Module Busted, 4 Militant Associates Arrested Police

SRINAGAR: Police on Sunday busted a Lashkar-e-Toiba module by arresting its 4 militant associates in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

A police spokesperson in a press release stated, “Police stated that in case FIR no 14/2024 U/S 13, 18, 39 UA(P) act registered at police station Qaimoh Kulgam, Kulgam Police together with 1RR and 18 BN CRPF arrested 4 terrorist associates and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.”

They’ve been recognized as Zahoor Ahmad Pandit S/O Abdul Gani Pandit, Basir Hussain Pandit S/O Farooq Ahmad Pandit, Imtiyaz Gull S/O Gull Mohd Bhat and Gulzar Ahmad Khar S/O Ghulam Mohd Khar all of the residents of Wanpora. “From their possession 1 Pistol, 2 Pistol Journal, 20 rounds of Pistol rounds, 4 UBGs, and 24 rounds of INSAS have been recovered.”

Additional investigation is occurring as extra arrests and recoveries are anticipated within the case, reads the assertion.
