For all the nature lovers out there as well as locals and tourists, Brisbane Botanic Gardens are not some usual city gardens, these gardens are located at a distance of almost seven kilometers from the city on 128 acres of land, the major highlights of the gardens is the collection of Australian rainforest trees and Japanese Gardens. There are various sections of plants like bamboo, cactus and indigenous plants and many more, and you can enjoy these sections with free guided walks or you can choose minibus tours also and the cherry on the top is that the entry is free there, so do not forget to take a walk there to feel motivated in the presence of lush green vibes. And after exploring the gardens you can take a four-minute drive to Brisbane Lookout Mount Coot-tha to experience the breathtaking panorama view of the entire city.

The world’s third-largest sand island, Moreton Island is an amazing place for a day trip. You can reach there easily via ferry rides from downtown, Brisbane. The island offers activities like feeding wild dolphins, diving, snorkeling, and some shallow water wrecks, more than 98% of the area of the island is designated as a national park, and for some beautiful ocean views, you can visit the nearby Cape Moreton Lighthouse and can do some fishing or ride a whale-watching cruise and sea kayaking.
