6 Kashmiris Killed In Shimla Street Accident – Kashmir Observer

Srinagar- Six Kashmiris have been killed and as many sustained accidents when the the car they have been travelling fell right into a gorge close to Sunni in Shimla district on Monday morning, police stated.

The mishap occurred at Kudharghat, about 35 km from Shimla, when the driving force of the ill-fated pickup truck misplaced management of the car, police stated.

Of the 12 occupants, 9 have been from Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, working as labourers in Himachal Pradesh. They have been on their approach to Mandi from Sunni, police stated.

Three of the labourers died on the spot and as many have been declared useless by medical doctors once they have been taken to a hospital, police stated.

These injured are present process therapy on the Indira Gandhi Medical School Hospital (IGMCH), police stated.

The deceased have been recognized as Farid (24), Gulab (43), Sahbir (19), Talib (23), Gulzar (30), and Mustak (30), Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi advised PTI.

The injured included Ranjit, who was driving the car, Aslam, Talib Hussain, Akash Kumar, Ajay Thakur, and Manjoor, police stated.

A case has been registered and investigations are on, he added.
