Senior PO Dismissed From Service, Not To be Reemployed Ever

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir authorities on Tuesday dismissed Aijaz-Ul-Hassan, a senior Prosecuting Officer (PO) from authorities service over costs of corruption.

The federal government order said that Hassan has been dismissed from service with speedy impact, along with being disqualified from any future authorities employment.

As per a authorities order, Hassan has been accused of demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakhs from one Moulvi Mushtaq Ahmad in 2014.

“The bribe was allegedly taken in trade for serving to Moulvi Mushtaq Ahmad by not naming him as an accused in an FIR registered towards his members of the family at Darhal police station in Rajouri,” reads the order.

The order states that an inquiry was initiated towards Hassan after he didn’t satisfactorily reply to the costs towards him. “The inquiry officer’s report established that Hassan had agreed to return Rs 1 lakh out of the bribe quantity he had accepted from Ahmad.”

“The report and proposals of the inquiry officer had been positioned earlier than the competent authority within the Residence Division of the Jammu and Kashmir authorities. The competent authority authorised the findings and proposals to dismiss Hassan from authorities service, whereas additionally disqualifying him from future employment,” it states.
