About 36% Rajya Sabha Candidates Declared Prison Instances In opposition to Themselves: ADR




NEW DELHI, Feb 24: “Thirty-six per cent of Rajya Sabha candidates have declared felony circumstances in opposition to themselves whereas the typical property of candidates analysed stood at ₹127.81 crore,” in response to ballot rights physique Affiliation for Democratic Reforms (ADR).

“Congress nominee from Himachal Pradesh Abhishek Manu Singhvi with complete property value ₹1,872 crore, Samajwadi Celebration nominee from Uttar Pradesh Jaya Amitabh Bachchan with property value ₹1,578 crore and JD(S) nominee from Karnataka Kupendra Reddy with property amounting to ₹871 crore are among the many high three weathiest candidates,” in response to the evaluation.
Among the many poorest candidates are BJP’s Madhya Pradesh candidate Balyogi Umesh Nath with property value greater than ₹47 lakh, BJP’s West Bengal candidate Samik Bhattacharya with property value ₹1 crore and BJP’s Uttar Pradesh candidate Sangita with property value ₹1 crore.
