Srinagar- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB ) Friday trapped and arrested a Patwari for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 3000 for issuance of Virasati Intqal and authorized inheritor certificates in Kathua district.
In a press release, a spokesperson stated that ACB obtained a written grievance from a resident of Machhedi alleging that Gulshan Singh, Patwari, Halqa Machhedi is demanding bribe of Rs 5000 from him for issuance of Virsati Intqal mutations and authorized inheritor certificates.
The assertion reads that the complainant utilized via on-line portal of income division and met Patwari for issuance of the identical. “The Patwari obtained and quantity of ₹2000 as advance and additional demanding steadiness ₹3,000 from complainant for issuance of the paperwork.”
