Poonch, Jan 14: A large hearth broke out in forest space close to Dera ki Gali in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district within the early hours of Sunday.
The Indian Military was in a position to convey the hearth below management with the assistance of safety businesses, saving many lives and infrastructure.
“Immediate and speedy response of #IndianArmy saved many lives and infrastructure, when huge forest hearth broke close to #DeraKiGali and endangered Civil and Military Infrastructure. With coordinated and synergistic efforts of civ businesses and safety forces hearth was introduced below management in #DeraKiGali,” PRO (Public Relations Officer) Defence Jammu mentioned in a submit on ‘X’.
The PRO Defence additionally shared a brief video clip of the operation by which defence personnel had been seen engaged in dousing the flames.
Earlier in December, a large hearth broke out within the Patlikuhal forest space of Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, destroying forest wealth price crores of rupees. Massive flames of fireplace had been seen erupting out of the forest space. (Companies)
