Srinagar, Feb 18: J&Okay Catastrophe Administration Authority (JKDMA) Sunday issued low and medium hazard stage avalanche warning for ten district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Avalanche with low hazard stage is prone to happen above 2500 metres over Anantnag and Kulgam districts in subsequent 24 hours. Additionally avalanche with medium hazard stage is prone to happen above 2200 metres over Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara and Ganderbal districts in subsequent 24 hours”, JKDMA in an advisory stated.
In response to advisory folks dwelling in these areas are suggested to take precautions and keep away from venturing within the avalanche inclined areas.
