SRINAGAR: The physique of a person who had been lacking for the final 20 days was retrieved from the Jhelum River within the Safa Kadal space of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday afternoon.
A police official knowledgeable the information company Kashmir Scroll that an unidentified decomposed physique was recovered from the Jhelum in Safa Kadal.
He acknowledged that the police took custody of the physique, after which it was recognized as that of Basharat Ah Bhat, son of the late Ali Mohd Bhat, a resident of Naid Kadal Srinagar.
He additional added that further investigation concerning this matter has been initiated.
