Money, Liquor Value Rs 29 Lakh Seized Submit MCC Activation in JK

SRINAGAR: A number of enforcement groups working throughout Kathua district have intercepted and seized money and liquor valued at Rs 29,51,630 because the enforcement of Election Mannequin Code of Conduct.

“The vigilant enforcement groups have demonstrated infallible dedication to uphold the sanctity of electoral course of,” said District Election Officer Kathua, who can also be the Returning Officer for the 4-Udhampur PC. “We’re decided to forestall any violation of the mannequin code of conduct promptly and decisively,” he added.

Because the Lok Sabha elections progress, the administration has urged the residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious actions or violation of the ballot code to the involved authorities.
