The CBI on Wednesday arrested a hospital worker in reference to a bribery case in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, the company mentioned.
The CBI has arrested an official of Sub-District Hospital, Sopore, within the north Kashmir district, in a bribery case associated to issuance of date of delivery certificates, the investigating company mentioned in an announcement.
A case was registered on a grievance towards an official working within the date of delivery part of Sub-District Hospital, Sopore, on the allegations of demanding a bribe from the complainant for issuance of delivery certificates in favour of his daughter, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) mentioned.
It was additional alleged that the accused initially demanded a bribe of Rs 5,000 which was decreased to Rs 3,600 after negotiation, the assertion mentioned.
The CBI caught the accused after accepting a bribe of Rs 36,00 from the complainant by means of on-line transaction, the company mentioned. (PTI)
