Cong’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ Re-Enters Assam From Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati, Jan 21: Congress’ ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi resumed the second leg of its Assam journey on Sunday, after an evening halt in neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh.
The Yatra re-entered Assam via Rajgarh in Biswanath district and is continuing in direction of Nagaon district within the central a part of the state.
The march, being carried out on foot and bus, had performed its first leg of Assam journey from Thursday to Saturday afternoon.
It has now began its second leg and can journey via the state until March 25, protecting a complete of 833 km.
A public assembly, to be attended by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Gandhi, amongst others, is scheduled at Kaliabor in Nagaon later within the day.
