JAMMU, Nov 27: The Central College of Jammu celebrated Janjatiya Gaurav Divas on the event of the beginning anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
On the event, Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor of CUJ; Prof Ritu Bakshi, Dean Pupil Welfare; Prof Ajai Pal Sharma, HoD Administration Research, college students, school members and employees of the college supplied floral tribute earlier than the portrait of Birsa Munda and others tribal freedom fighters.
Prof Jain highlighted the wrestle and main contribution of freedom fighter Birsa Munda. He suggested college students to be taught from the lifetime of Birsa Munda and voice in opposition to exploitation and oppression to take the nation ahead. He opined that we have to work for all spherical growth of tribals of the area and that can be befitting tribute to Birsa Munda.
The Workplace of Dean College students’ Welfare CUJ organized numerous actions like a quiz competitors on tribal issues, well being camp and profession counselling at Kendriya Vidyalaya.
The actions had been coordinated by Dr Bharti Gupta, Robin, Dr Ranjeet Raman, Dr Sudhakar and Dr Vijyata Puri.
