E-Rickshaw Plunges Into River Jehlum

SRINAGAR: An e-rickshaw plunged into the River Jehlum close to the Lasjan bridge on Friday late night, selling authorities to launch rescue operation on Saturday morning.

Quoting officers, KNO reported that an e-rickshaw, pushed by Umer Ahmad Dar, a resident of SD colony Batmaloo, Srinagar, fell into the River Jehlum on Friday night.

The official added that the motive force is protected, however it’s but unclear whether or not the automobile was empty or carrying passengers.

Moreover, ASI SDRF Abdul Rashid mentioned that they’ve retrieved the e-Car from the water, and rescue efforts are ongoing within the space.
