SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Directorate has hooked up property price over Rs 36 crore within the case of M/s Reliance Common Insurance coverage Pvt Ltd (RGIPL) and M/s Trinity Reinsurance Brokers Non-public Restricted (TRBL) linked to medical health insurance of workers in Jammu and Kashmir.
The ED in an announcement mentioned that case is linked to awarding of tender of Mediclaim Insurance coverage Coverage for the JK Authorities Staff, PSUs’ workers and pensioners fraudulently to Reliance Common Insurance coverage by JK Finance Division in collusion with Trinity Reinsurance Brokers Restricted (Insurance coverage Dealer).
The assertion reads, “ED initiated investigation on the idea of FIR registered by the CBI, ACB, Srinagar for fee of offences underneath varied sections of PC (Pari-Materia to sections 120-B & 420 of IPC) and JKPC (Pari-Materia to sections 13(1) (d) learn with 13(2) of PC Act), on the idea of grievance filed by the J&Ok authorities in opposition to Trinity Reinsurance Brokers Restricted, Reliance Common Insurance coverage Firm Restricted and unknown Public Servants & non-public individuals.”
It reads that the investigation revealed that J&Ok Finance Division intentionally awarded the tender for engagement of middleman for designing, floating the tender for and implementation of the Well being Scheme for presidency workers & pensioners of J&Ok by doubtful or questionable choice and shortlisting course of to TRBL with out holding the important eligibility standards.
