Govt okays fee of Dearness Allowance to workers on revised charges

Srinagar, Dec 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Authorities on Tuesday authorized the fee of dearness allowance to its workers on revised charges with efficient from July 1, 2023.

“In continuation to the Authorities Order No. 93-F of 2023 dated 04.05.2023, it’s hereby ordered that Authorities workers working in common pay scale below seventh Pay Fee suggestions shall be paid Dearness Allowance as; Present Charge of DA per thirty days 42% of Fundamental Pay to 46% of Revised Charge of DA per thirty days with impact from 01.07.2023”, reads an order.

The order additional reads that “i) The time period ‘Fundamental Pay’ within the revised pay construction means the pay drawn within the prescribed degree within the Pay Matrix as per seventh Pay Fee suggestions however doesn’t embrace every other kind of pay like particular pay and many others. ii) The arrears on account of extra instalment of Dearness Allowance from July 2023 to November 2023 shall be paid in money in December 2023.
