SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir authorities on Monday introduced public vacation on ballot dates in 5 parliamentary constituencies within the Union Territory.
As per a authorities order, issued by the GAD, the federal government has notified 5 days as holidays underneath part 135 B of the Illustration of the Folks Act 1951.
The order additionally declared the ballot day as paid vacation for each eligible voter employed in any enterprise, commerce, industrial undertakings or some other institution.
