New Delhi: Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah on Monday welcomed the Supreme Courtroom verdict to uphold the federal government’s choice to abrogate Article 370, saying the ruling has proved that the August 5, 2019 choice was “utterly constitutional”.
In a collection of posts on X quickly after the Supreme Courtroom verdict, Shah, the architect of the complete transfer to abrogate Article 370, stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a visionary choice 5 years in the past that introduced peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir.
“I welcome the Honourable Supreme Courtroom of India’s verdict upholding the choice to abolish Article 370. On August 5, 2019, PM Narendra Modi took a visionary choice to abrogate Article 370. Since then peace and normalcy have returned to J&Okay,” he stated.
