Srinagar, Dec 31: The ‘Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, J&Okay (TeH) has been declared an ‘Illegal Affiliation’ below UAPA, Union Residence Minister Amit Shah stated on Sunday.
“The outfit is concerned in forbidden actions to separate J&Okay from India and set up Islamic rule. The group is discovered spreading anti-India propaganda and persevering with terror actions to gas secessionism in J&Okay,” stated Shah, in a publish on X.

“The target of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir (TeH) is to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India and set up Islamic rule in Jammu and Kashmir. This group has been concerned in fomenting terrorism and anti-India propaganda for fueling secessionism in Jammu and Kashmir, which is prejudicial to the sovereignty, safety and integrity of India. Many legal circumstances have been registered in opposition to this group below varied sections of the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act, Arms Act, RPC and IPC and so on,” stated the PIB, in a press launch.
