Islamabad: In a volte-face, a former senior bureaucrat who alleged that 13 candidates from Pakistan’s garrison metropolis of Rawalpindi have been forcefully declared winners within the elections, on Thursday withdrew his allegations and mentioned he made the rigging prices on the behest of ex-prime minister Imran Khan’s occasion which provided him a “profitable place”.
