NEW DELHI, Jan 31: President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday stated the trinity of Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Cell has helped curb corruption and Rs 2.75 lakh crore of public cash was prevented from going into the fallacious palms.
In her tackle to the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha within the new Parliament constructing right here, she stated the federal government has made good governance and transparency the principle basis of each establishment within the final decade on account of which main financial reforms have been witnessed.
“The trinity of Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Cell (JAM) has helped curb corruption. My authorities has to this point transferred Rs 34 lakh crore by DBT (direct profit switch). Because of Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Cell, about 10 crore pretend beneficiaries have been weeded out from the system. This has helped stop Rs 2.75 lakh crore from going into fallacious palms,” Murmu stated.
