Jammu and Kashmir Declares Ranji Trophy Lineup, Nasir Lone Earns Maiden Choice

   

SRINAGAR: Shubham Khajuria will lead the Jammu and Kashmir cricket group within the opening two matches of the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season, as introduced by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Affiliation. The squad was revealed on December 30, with opening batter Shubham Khajuria captaining the group, which goals to bounce again from disappointments within the Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The Ranji Trophy, that includes Elite and Plate divisions, is scheduled to begin on January 25, 2024, and culminate on March 14, 2024, with groups divided into teams. Notably, the Jammu and Kashmir group will kick off their marketing campaign towards Himachal Pradesh on January 5 on the Hostel Floor in Jammu, adopted by a match towards Delhi on the similar venue on January 12.

The squad sees the return of Umran Malik, recovering from an damage suffered through the Vijay Hazare Trophy, whereas accidents sideline Rasikh Salam and Yudhvir Singh.
