Avalanche Warning Issued for A number of Districts

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Catastrophe Administration Authority on Friday issued a medium-danger stage avalanche warning for a number of districts in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Avalanche with Medium Hazard Degree is prone to happen above 2200 metres above sea stage over Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Baramulla, Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Reasi districts in subsequent 24 hours,” reads an advisory.

Folks residing in these (specified) areas are suggested to take precautions and keep away from venturing within the avalanche susceptible areas until additional orders,” the advisory reads.
