JITO Ahimsa Run receives overwhelming response in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 31: The Jain Worldwide Commerce Organisation (JITO) and Jito Administrative Coaching Basis (JATF) collectively organised the Second ‘Ahimsa Run’ right here on Sunday, which acquired an awesome response, notably from native runners.

The run was supported by Sarhad Pune and Spring Buds College, Budgam, Kashmir. The organisers need to maintain the run throughout the nation and the world to advertise the values of peace and non-violence (Shanti aur Ahimsa).

This was the primary run in Kashmir, organised with help from Sarhad, Pune, an NGO, working within the strife-torn areas for over 35 years to offer aid to distressed folks.

The run was held in two classes of three km and 5 km.

It began from Lal Chowk and ended at Budgam. Over 500 native athletes participated within the occasion, whose motto was ‘Jito aur Jitne do’ (Be a winner and assist others win). Moreover, 225 members of JITO from throughout the nation took half within the run. Additionally, the scholars from Darpura and Bandipur ran within the marathon. It ended at Spring Buds College Budgam. An enormous participation of native runners underlined the message that the folks of Kashmir are peace-loving and hospitable.

The run has been impressed by the Jain humanitarian rules of ‘Jio aur jino do’ (Stay and let reside) and non-violence (Ahimsa). The phrase ‘Ahimsa’ instantly rings a bell in our thoughts of forgiveness, positivity, cosmic love, power, and brotherhood. Ahimsa is Shakti (power).
