SRINAGAR: The Jain Worldwide Commerce Organisation (JITO) and Jito Administrative Coaching Basis (JATF) collectively organised the Second ‘Ahimsa Run’ right here on Sunday, which acquired an amazing response, notably from native runners.

The run was supported by Sarhad Pune and Spring Buds Faculty, Budgam, Kashmir. The organisers aspire to develop the run’s attain throughout the nation and the globe, advocating for the rules of peace and non-violence (Shanti aur Ahimsa).

This was the primary run in Kashmir, organised with assist from Sarhad, Pune, an NGO working within the strife-torn areas for over 35 years to offer aid to distressed individuals.

The run was held in two classes of three km and 5 km. It began from Lal Chowk, and ended at Budgam. Over 500 native athletes participated within the occasion, whose motto was ‘Jito aur Jitne do’ (Be a winner and assist others win).
