Jammu, Feb 15: 4 motels and a banquet corridor have been closed for violation of air pollution management norms in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Thursday, an official spokesperson stated.
District Justice of the Peace Udhampur Saloni Rai ordered the closure of the enterprise institutions, the spokesperson stated.
In accordance to the directive from the J-Okay PCB, and with the approval of the competent authority, the District Justice of the Peace invoked related sections of Water Prevention and Management of Air pollution Act, Air Prevention and Management of Air pollution Act, and Surroundings Safety Act in opposition to 5 motels and a banquet corridor functioning throughout the jurisdiction of Udhampur district.
A staff of officers enforced the closure of the recognized institutions, the spokesperson stated. (Businesses)
