J&K | Bandipora-Gurez Street Blocked Due To Avalanche, Clearance Operation Underway

Bandipora, Mar 17: The Bandipora-Gurez highway within the Jammy and Kashmir has been blocked as a result of a number of snow avalanches on Sunday.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has commenced an intensive clearance operation within the snow avalanche-hit space.
Earlier within the month, a gaggle of seven native trekkers stranded at Mughal Street in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district amid heavy snowfall and avalanches have been safely rescued, officers mentioned.
The rescue operation was carried out by a staff of officers from the mechanical engineering wing of the Public Works division. (Companies)
