JK-DMA points Avalanche Warning For five Districts

Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Catastrophe Administration Authority on Monday issued a medium- hazard stage avalanche warning for 5 districts in jammu and Kashmir.

Avalanche with medium hazard stage is more likely to happen above 2200 metres over Kishtwar, Kupwara, Bandipora and Baramulla districts in subsequent 24 hours, reads an advisory

Additional avalanche with excessive hazard stage is more likely to happen above 2200 metres over Ganderbal district in subsequent 24 hours.

Folks dwelling in these areas are suggested to take precautions and keep away from venturing within the avalanche susceptible areas until additional orders.
