Srinagar, Jan 2: Jammu and Kashmir authorities has directed treasury officers to make sure that all staff make a contribution in the direction of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
In a round, the Principal Secretary to the Authorities, Finance Division, mentioned: “Armed Forces Flag Day Fund is noticed yearly on the seventh of December. As per previous observe, all Treasury Officers are directed to impress upon the DDOs working upon their treasuries to make sure donation to the Fund by all the staff.”
Authorities has directed for minimal donation of Rs 200 for Gazetted Officers and Rs 100 for Non-Gazetted officers, to be deducted from their salaries ranging from December 2023.
“The quantity of donation shall be remitted as; a) Via Cheque/Financial institution Draft in favour of Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, and the cheque/financial institution draft shall be despatched to Director Sainik Welfare, Jammu and Kashmir Authorities, Amphalla, Jammu or b) Via NEFT in favour of Secretary, Rajya Sainik Board, J&Ok Financial institution A/C Quantity 0493040100000784, IFSC Code JAKA0AMPHLA & MICR Code 180051040 and the copy of the bill be mailed to directorsw-11@jk.gov.in,” reads the round.
