J&K Police attaches unlawful properties of drug peddlers price Rs 1.55 crore in Baramulla

BARAMULLA: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday mentioned to have hooked up unlawful properties belonging to drug peddlers price 1.55 Crores in Baramulla district throughout the first quarter of 2024.

A Police spokesperson mentioned, “Persevering with its motion in opposition to drug menace, Police in Baramulla have hooked up properties and autos which incorporates 4 residential home, 1 purchasing complicated, 1 Land Plot, 2 i20 vehicles, 1 Swift & 1 Scooty belonging to drug peddlers price 1.55 Crores in Baramulla district throughout the first quarter of 2024.”

The motion was taken below sections 68-E learn with 68-F (1) of NDPS Act of 1985.

The properties had been recognized as illegally acquired property throughout the course of investigations/enquiries carried out by Police. The properties had been prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in Narcotic drug and Psychotropic substances by the drug peddlers.
