Srinagar, Jan 24: Inspector Normal of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone Vidhi Kumar Birdhi assured the general public of a safe Republic Day celebration, stating that the J&Ok Police and safety businesses are on excessive alert to deal with any potential incidents.
Talking on the Full Gown Rehearsal at Bakhshi Stadium Srinagar, the IGP emphasised the well-coordinated safety preparations in Srinagar and surrounding areas, with the whole safety grid remaining vigilant for the graceful conduct of Republic Day festivities.
“There are nicely safety preparations in place in Srinagar district and different adjoining areas. Additionally, the safety grid is vigilant,” acknowledged the IGP, highlighting the sturdy coordination between J&Ok Police and different safety businesses.
He expressed confidence that there can be no restrictions on January 26, inviting everybody to take part within the celebrations.
