SOPORE: J&Ok Police on Tuesday morning rescued a pregnant girl amidst heavy snowfall from Zethan to PHC Dangiwacha in North Kashmir’s Sopore.
A Police spokesperson mentioned, “A misery name from Shamshad Ahmad Mir R/O Zethan Dangiwacha, requesting for pressing rescue and medical evacuation of his pregnant spouse who was in crucial situation was acquired by Sopore Police.”
“As a result of heavy snowfall from final two days, the highway was fully blocked and the motion of auto was very troublesome”, he mentioned.
Realising the exigency, a rescue workforce headed by SHO Dangiwacha Insp. Jan Mohammad was instantly deputed to reply to misery name. Inspite of heavy snow on the highway, the rescue workforce reached the situation on time and the affected person was fastidiously and safely evacuated to PHC Dangiwacha.
