J&Okay energy plant inks pact to produce electrical energy to Rajasthan for 40 yrs

New Delhi, Jan 4: Ratle Hydro Electrical Energy Company Restricted (RHPCL), a three way partnership firm of NHPC Restricted and Jammu and Kashmir State Energy Improvement Company, has entered right into a Energy Buy Settlement (PPA) for supplying electrical energy to Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Providers Restricted, the Union Energy Ministry stated on Thursday.

The 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Challenge in J&Okay’s Kishtwar will present energy to Rajasthan for a interval of 40 years from the Business Operation Date (COD) of the challenge and as per energy allocation to be notified by the Union Ministry of Energy.

The PPA was signed in Jaipur on Wednesday within the presence of senior officers of RHPCL & Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Providers Restricted.
