Srinagar- Kashmir Energy Distribution Company Restricted (KPDCL) Wednesday ordered blanket ban on procuring and promoting of nichrome coil based mostly heating devices within the Valley.
In line with an order, KPDCL mentioned that the federal government in 2018 had ordered full ban on manufacture, import, transport, sale , buy and use of Nichrome coil-based crude heaters, boilers and steamers.
It mentioned that producers don’t conform to the required specs of BIS or Worldwide Electro-Technical Fee.
