Srinagar- An affiliate of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) has been arrested in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and arms and ammunition have been seized from him, police stated on Thursday.
Following details about suspicious motion within the Kreeri space, safety forces arrange a checkpoint at Shrakwara Kreeri, a police official stated.
Throughout checking, a person, whose motion appeared suspicious, was noticed by safety forces. On seeing safety personnel approaching him, he tried to flee, however was apprehended, the official stated.
Police stated the person has been recognized as Imran Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Nowpora Wagoora Kreeri.
The official stated a Chinese language pistol, {a magazine} of the pistol, 9 bullets and a mobilephone had been seized from him. He has been booked below the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act.
