Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday granted one time exemption to Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Fee (JKPSC) and Jammu and Kashmir Service Choice Board (JKSSB) to attract up the wait lists.
In a notification issued on February 28, the federal government notified that in train of the powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the Structure, the Lieutenant Governor is happy to grant one time exemption to the recruiting companies specifically Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Fee and Jammu and Kashmir Service Choice Board to attract up the wait record(s), in respect of these choose record(s) which have been issued after 07.09.2023, inside a interval of six months.
“The extension is granted topic to the circumstances that such wait record(s) are drawn throughout the validity interval of the choose record; and that the resultant vacancies on account of non-joining of chosen candidates haven’t been re-advertised,” the notification reads.
