SRINAGAR: A person was arrested on Saturday for allegedly abducting and raping a minor right here, police stated.
An official stated that the accused recognized as Abdul Majeed was absconding since October final 12 months when an FIR was lodged in opposition to him
Majeed was booked beneath Sections 363 (abduction) and 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code, Safety of Youngsters from Sexual Offences Act, and Prohibition of Youngster Marriage Act, the police stated.
