Amit Shah Says Outfit Concerned In Forbidden Actions To Separate J&Okay From India, Set up Islamic Rule
New Delhi: The federal government on Sunday declared pro-Pakistan separatist amalgam Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) Jammu and Kashmir a banned organisation for fomenting terrorism and spreading anti-India propaganda within the Union territory.
Asserting the choice, Union Residence Minister Amit Shah mentioned the group was discovered spreading anti-India propaganda and persevering with terror actions to gasoline secessionism in Jammu and Kashmir.
He mentioned that underneath Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s zero-tolerance coverage towards terrorism, any particular person or organisation discovered concerned in anti-India actions can be thwarted.
“The ‘Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, J&Okay (TeH) has been declared an ‘Illegal Affiliation’ underneath Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act. The outfit is concerned in forbidden actions to separate J&Okay from India and set up Islamic rule,” Shah wrote on ‘X’.
The professional-Pakistan group was earlier headed by deceased separatist chief Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who was succeeded by Masarat Alam Bhat. Bhat can be identified for his anti-India and pro-Pakistan propaganda.
Bhat is at the moment in jail and his social gathering the Muslim League of Jammu Kashmir was declared a banned organisation on December 27. (Businesses)
