Poonch, Dec 16: Mughal highway, connecting Kashmir Valley’s Shopian district with twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, was closed as a result of contemporary snowfall on Saturday, officers mentioned.
They mentioned that there was contemporary snowfall at a number of locations alongside the highway together with ‘Pir Ki Gali’, resulting in the closure of the thoroughfare.
DySP PC Surankote Hamid Ali Bandey confirmed to GNS the closure of the highway.
Earlier this 12 months, the highway, thought of as different to Jammu-Srinagar Freeway, was closed on a number of events as a result of snowfall, notably in ‘Pir KiGali’ and its adjoining areas.
