Mughal street closed as a consequence of contemporary snowfall – Kashmir Reader

Poonch: Mughal street, connecting Kashmir Valley’s Shopian district with twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, was closed as a consequence of contemporary snowfall on Thursday.

Official stated that there was contemporary snowfall at a number of locations alongside the street together with ‘Pir Ki Gali’, resulting in the closure of the thoroughfare.

DySP PC Surankote Hamid Ali Bandey confirmed the closure of the street.

Earlier this 12 months, the street, thought-about as different to Jammu-Srinagar Freeway, was closed on a number of events as a consequence of snowfall, notably in ‘Pir KiGali’ and its adjoining areas
