SRINAGAR: The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) has assumed management of the Kokernag encounter case, following the Ministry of House Affairs directive, as revealed by sources on Wednesday.
Sources knowledgeable the information company KNO that, according to the Ministry of House Affairs notification, the NIA has taken cost of the case and registered it beneath FIR quantity RC-04/2023/NIA/JMU on the Jammu Police Station of the company. “The company will provoke an in depth investigation into the encounter case,” they added.
