NEW DELHI, Feb 7: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh has accredited a proposal for waiver of situation for completion of 179 working days on the time of accident for cost of ex-gratia lumpsum compensation to Informal Paid Labourers (CPLs) working in Border Roads Group (BRO) / Common Engineering Reserve Drive (GREF). As per current directions, the CPLs who’ve labored a minimum of 179 days in BRO are solely coated for cost of ex-gratia lump sum compensation. A number of households of deceased CPLs are disadvantaged of the grant on account of this constraint of 179 working days.
