Safety Forces Conduct Flag Marches in Kashmir Forward of Elections

SRINAGAR: The safety forces performed flag marches throughout the Kashmir Valley on Saturday to instill a way of safety and confidence among the many voters forward of the Lok Sabha elections, officers stated.

The officers stated the flag marches had been performed by the district police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) throughout the valley.

The flag marches had been performed in view of the upcoming parliamentary elections, they stated.

The officers stated the flag marches are part of space domination train to instill a way of safety and concord within the society and to make sure free, truthful and fearless elections.

The senior officers of the police and CAPFs, and jawans took half within the flag marches, they stated.

There are three Lok Sabha seats in Kashmir—Anantnag-Rajouri, Srinagar and Baramulla.

Whereas Anantnag-Rajouri goes to polls within the third part on Could 7, polling in Srinagar could be held in part 4 on Could 13 and Baramulla in part 5 on Could 20.
