SRINAGAR, Apr 7: The night-long prayers on the event of Shab-e-Qadr (Evening of Energy) or Lailat-ul-Qadr have been noticed throughout the Kashmir valley with spiritual fervour.
Barring the historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, congregational prayers have been held in all mosques and shrines throughout the Kashmir valley.
The authorities disallowed Shab-e-Qadr prayers on the historic Jamia Masjid, which triggered reactions.

Peoples Democratic Get together chief Mehbooba Mufti slammed the Authorities for disallowing prayers at Jamia on Shab-e-Qadr.
