Uttarkashi [India], Nov 28: Fifteen staff among the many 41 staff trapped contained in the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand since November 12, have been efficiently rescued.
In the meantime, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the employees who’ve been rescued together with Union Minister of State Normal (Retd) VK Singh.
A portion of the tunnel caved in on November 12, the particles falling within the 60-metre stretch on the Silkyara aspect of the tunnel, trapping 41 labourers contained in the under-construction construction.
“The precise time of breakthrough was 7:05 pm. Uttarakhand CM, Minister of State for Highway Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation Gen VK Singh are current there,” says Harpal Singh, Venture Head, Zoji-la Tunnel.
CM Dhami extremely appreciated the morale and braveness of the employees and personnel engaged within the rescue operation.
In the meantime, NDRF and SDRF personnel entered the tunnel for rescue to rescue the employees.
Earlier in the present day, Uttarakhand CM and different officers reached the Silkyara tunnel rescue website.
